Wow what a spot! Can't say enough nice things about Joe and his beautiful AirBnB! We had such a great time during our week in paradise. The location is so peaceful and relaxing and monkeys right outside our place. We love that you're in a quiet jungle escape but in a 5 minute care ride in the bustle of Santa Teresa! Joe's Tuesday pizza night is not to be missed under the tiki by the pool btw! If you like to fish and surf this is such a prime location. Joe's boat is literally across the street from his place and he is a great captain that really knows the area. We hired him for a half day charter to go see if we could find catch some yellow tail tuna. We did catch a few black tuna but we missed the yellowtail bite but everyone agreed it was just an amazing day to be on the water. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous from the beach out in front. We loved the quick walk to Delzie Italian Bakery & Kitchen to grab a slice of pizza and the quick mart! We can't wait to visit again soon!

Wonderful spot - the pictures really don't do the place justice. Easy walk to the beach, the marina, the grocery store and brewery. The landscaping is lush and attracts plenty of local wildfire - butterflies, birds, capybatas, and coatis - we even saw a howler monkey on our last evening there! The pool and outdoor kitchen area are great for large and small groups. Overall a great experience - we will be back!

I had a feeling that this was going to be a good stay by how responsive Joe was before we even got there. But nothing could have prepared me for the experience I had. The grounds are immaculate, the dwellings are exactly what you see in the pictures, and the host was amazing. My family spent a month at the property and we really felt like it was our new home. We were able to set up a fishing trip with Joe and caught more tuna than I thought was possible in a few hours. It was an amazing experience. Not only was Joe amazing as a host, I truly feel I gained a good friend in Costa Rica. We cannot recommend Playa de Pesca enough. We will return for years to come.

We loved staying at Casa Wahoo. Quiet little corner away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Teresa, yet easy to get to various surf breaks and town. The place was very clean and felt new/nice. Only 2 of the 3 bedrooms had AC, so we just shared 2 rooms. AC in the main area and the 2 rooms worked great.

Joe's place was just what we needed. We stayed with our kids in the 3 bed apartment and had the beach and the nature surrounding us and felt Costa Rica vibe. There's a beach you can snorkel in just few minutes away, and beautiful beach to watch sunsets just outside Joe's property. Carmen beach and Santa Teresa are 10min drive away, which is close enough to get there and far enough to enjoy quite nights. The pool is amazing! very well maintained, perfect size and was great for the kids. There is a community area where you can cook and BBQ (in addition to your kitchen) which is fully equipped and enable you to prep dinner like you're at home. And of course, Joe's Pizza was a wonderful addition to this amazing experience. 100% recommended 👌

Our family stayed in Casa Wahoo with 3 bedrooms and two upstairs with decks and rocking chairs that my wife and I enjoyed early in the mornings with our coffee and listening to the Howler Monkeys in the trees overhead. Make sure to arraign a fishing trip with Joe on his boat, you won't be disappointed. My grandkids caught 12 or more Tuna Macs and one grandson caught a 60lb Amber Jack, we ate fish for days and gave a bunch away to guest. Do the zipline which is maybe two hundred yards away, also do the day trip to Isla Tortuga for snorkeling with Zuma. You can always count on a relaxing afternoon at Joe's pool, and lastly you got to try his Pizza some of the best I've eaten. Joe thanks again for a great stay and we will be back.
